Mozilla has released a final version of Firefox 6. There are many improvements and fixes but not so many new features. I can already see the improvement in speed – the feel of the browser is faster. There are supposed to be some improvements in Pandora, Web Console and Sync.
With this version they are also stopping version numbers – the new versions will be just, well – new versions. The logic behind this is that the users of Firefox should learn to trust they’re always running the latest version of the browser. Similar, they claim, to the web – GMail has no version numbers at all.
